An extraordinary season with an early harvest.
Flowering occurred early, at the start of June, while July brought beautiful weather, which helped ensure exceptional vine health.
Harvest began early, starting on August 20th and continuing to mid-September, with excellent conditions: sunny, but not too-hot days, cool nights.

Terroirs & Origins

RSRV Blanc de Noirs Vintage is produced solely from the famous Pinot Noir grapes of the Verzenay Grand Cru village on the Montagne de Reims.

Thanks to a northern
and northeastern exposure, Verzenay delivers a unique expression of the varietal that is both delicate and lively.
The soil is composed of clay and limestone, offering freshness and filtering properties.

Verzenay also benefits from a specific microclimate created by a local warm-air current that favors great persistence and a long finish.

The grapes used to craft this wine are pressed on site in the House’s very first press, ensuring the freshness and quality of the juice.
The House’s expertise and the unique personality of Verzenay’s Grand Cru terroir contribute to the singular expression of RSRV Blanc de Noirs:

•Cold alcoholic fermentation to preserve fruity primary aromas.
•Complete malolactic fermentation, adding roundness without compromising vivacity.
•Aging on fine lees with moderate stirring for complexity.
Wine aged in wooden tanks for a year and a half to add depth and complexity.
