A blend of six Grand Cru wines belonging to the House: Cramant and Avize for the Chardonnays, Aÿ, Bouzy and Verzenay for the Pinot Noirs. The still red wine from Ambonnay completes this aromatic blend.
Enhanced by notes of red fruit and more subtle aromas such as blood orange, RSRV Rosé Foujita is a bold, harmonious wine.
Léonard Tsuguharu Foujita, a friend of Picasso and Apollinaire, settled in Paris in 1913. He became one of the most popular artists of the first half of the twentieth
century.
In 1957, when art-lover René Lalou was looking for a symbol to represent his rosé champagne, he asked Foujita for a watercolor, and “Foujita’s Rose” was born.
The pair’s deepening friendship inspired Foujita to move to Reims, and it was during this new chapter of his life that he designed the Foujita Chapel, a symbol of the importance of men, ties and places when it comes to terroir.
