The delicacy of the lemony notes present in the RSRV Blanc de Blancs cuvée is a constant, whatever the vintage. Expressed in a more lively and fresh way in cold vintages, the lemon notes are more delicious in warm years, like a lemon tart. This tangy note is linked to the single grape variety of the cuvée, chardonnay. This grape variety contains a high level of citral and aldehydes, two compounds that provide this very marked lemon aroma, giving the wine a lively and tonic side. We find this assertive lemon note on the nose as well as on the palate.
