Flowers are a recurring motif in the art of painter Léonard Foujita. This is why in 1957, his friend and president of Maison Mumm, René Lalou, asked him to decline this motif in two models to adorn the Brut Rosé GH Mumm cuvée.
The two models produced reflected the painter’s intention: to interpret the elegance of the notes of the Brut Rosé GH Mumm vintage and his friendship with René Lalou. A year later, it was unveiled at the Cannes Film Festival. The model chosen by the president of Maison Mumm can be found on the collar of this vintage.
More than half a century later, it also appears on the collar of the RSRV Rosé Foujita cuvée. If Maison Mumm decided to give the painter’s name to this cuvée, it is in homage to his collaboration with René Lalou, who gave birth to this rose.
Thus, only this motif was able to dress the RSRV Rosé Foujita vintage, the complexity of whose notes echoes the multiple meanings of this rose.
